Halogen Line Heater
Overview
By arranging multiple halogen lamps in the shape of a line, the halogen heaters can be used suitably to heat objects for a fixed time and at a certain temperature. Such uses would include soldering the borders of solar panel cells (tab and string) or plastification in factories.
*Measurement condition
- Voltage 200V
- Heating object K thermocouple (0.32 phi)
- Measured at the center of focal point distance
Advantage
- Rapid rise of heating temperature up to 500-600 degrees Celsius.
- Possible to alterate the collecting radius and the focal point distance and even the irradiation range.
- Silica glass cover is available for protection of the mirror surface.
- When you reduce your operating voltage at 30% or more of rated voltage, the lamp life could be extended to nearly double.
Use
- Contact-less heating
- Various soldering
- Maintaining of constant temperature for molds
- Heating source for conveyor lines
- Heating source for cutting resins
- Antiscattering measure for coating resins on sputtering face of copper foil sheets
Precautions
- Do not apply any voltage above the rated voltage (or the product life could be shortened).
- Make sure to add a fast-blow breaker on the power side (we recommend you use our BC power).
- Although there is no particular limitation of lighting direction, don't apply any vibration or shocks while lighting.
- Water cooling is needed for the NL series of the halogen line heater..
Please use under the following conditions: water flow is 1 - 3 litter /min, water quality is PH 4 - 8 and water temperature is 15 - 22 degrees Celsius.
